Pavel Milyakov and Yana Pavlova Blue Psy X Records 005 Repress

Wie konnte diese Platte 2022 an uns vorbeigehen? Anscheinend ging es nicht nur mir so, siehe der Text zum Re-issue. Eine der schönsten, melancholischsten Platten der letzten 50 Jahre, irgendwo zwischen Peter Zummo, Cowboy Junkies, John Cale, Arthur Russell und Paper Dollhouse. Pawel Milyakov ist auch als Buttechno bekannt, macht eigentlich experimentellen Techno, Yana Pavlova war eine ukrainische Künstlerin, die kürzlich verstorben ist.  

Blue LP gets a long-awaited vinyl reissue in June. Despite receiving zero press coverage since its release in 2021, this record still somehow found a few dedicated fans. "Blue" remains one of the most important collaborative works I was lucky to be a part of. It is a deep and sincere sonic dialogue of two melancholic souls. "Blue" also allowed us to raise funds, which we’ve consistently donated to Ukrainian defense and humanitarian needs. All proceeds from the reissue itself, will go to @livyj_bereh volunteer team to support Ukrainian defense and humanitarian needs.
I would love more people to hear this LP and I know that Yana would’ve loved that too.
